David Schmidt

David Schmidt's ambition is to tell American history through film. To that end, he's been working for Florentine Films and Ken Burns since 2009. The first major series he's been with since the start of production is The Roosevelts, which will air on PBS in 2014.
 
In his spare time, David is trying his hand at writing narrative nonfiction for the screen.
